Cleansing is a great way to get rid of toxins and let some of your organs rest. Souping is a great way to cleanse the body and will definitely help with weight loss. However keeping to these diets for long periods of time may not be good for your health. The maintenance of weight loss after such cleanses can also be very difficult, and so it is always wise to include these as part of a healthy and balanced diet and not a quick fix.
You can detox your body from anywhere between one day during the week, or during the weekend once a month, or even for 7 to 14 days at every change of season.
