All you need to know about this diet is in its name! The name is all the desciption I needed to know exactly what this diet was about! Rawists, people who follow this diet, believe eating raw is the best way to get all The nutrients and goodness from foods.

The raw food diet has all plant-based foods including fruits and vegetables; nuts and seeds; and sprouted seeds, grains, and beans. So whats the big difference between this and the plant based diet? This diet involves very little cooking!  You might think this will limit what you eat, but it doesn’t. If anything it may be more time consuming because there are some instances where you need to prepare something from scratch which takes time.

This diet requires deep commitment and it can really be a problem for beginners who are used to cooking their foods. Eating out at restaurants will be problematic and most general stores may not have what you need or in the grade you need it.  You will need to visit speciality stores and restuatants to get what you need. very pricey and aren’t necessarily the tastiest either.

An upside to it is that the raw food diet can clear up headaches and allergies, boost immunity and memory. However, some food can cause poisoning if eaten uncooked so you will need to do thorough homework before starting this diet.

This particular diet has proven to be very polarizing, with people either raving about it or others calling it dangerous and nist be avoided completely.  So it may be worth giving it a try and seeing how well you would do on it, and deciding whether it’s worth doing for the long term or short.
